The 2026 Confident Kids Summer Series is a program designed to provide a curriculum where 25 participants between the ages of 7 and 11 years old are guided through a 6 week series where they will take part in positive activity, learning respect for self & others, friendships, gratitude, confidence, mindfulness, making good decisions and of course fun!
Sessions will run each week on Thursdays from 8:30am to 10:30am at the Florence Township Community Center.
Learning sessions, crafts, guest speakers and informational packets for parents including age appropriate prevention materials will be included in the program. Each participant will receive a t-shirt & water bottle.
This program is sponsored by the Florence Township Municipal Alliance and Funded through the National Opioid Settlement as a pilot program, geared towards enhancing children’s self confidence and instilling the values of emotional regulation, team work, goal setting and developing resilience.
This program is offered FREE of charge and will be open on a space available basis. In order to successfully capture results of the program, we encourage all that register to make every effort to attend all 6 weeks of the program. We understand that may be a challenge, but if you have vacations planned or weeks where your child may be unavailable, the program may not work for you.
