Florence Township is fully
supported by natural gas which is provided by Public Service Electric
and Gas (PSE&G).
ELECTRIC
Electrical service is also
provided by PSE&G, and is more than adequate for the existing and
anticipated needs of our community. Several major sub-stations are located
within the community and two generating plants are within 10 miles of
our borders.
TELEPHONE
Telecommunications needs
are handled by Verizon Communications. Fiberoptic, high speed DSL and
standard dial line services are all readily available to subscribers
in the township. Verizon maintains several underground fiber-optic service
vaults and a central office location in the community, giving our residents
reliable telecommunications services at all times.
CABLE TELEVISION
Comcast maintains cable television
service within the township and also provides high speed internet access.
