The Florence Township Planning
Board meets in the Municipal Complex at 711 Broad Street. Meetings are
held on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7:30 PM in the Main Conference
Room of the Municipal Complex. The Board has a full-time clerk and several
appointed professionals. The Planning Board is responsible for the Township's
Master Plan and controls the development and use of land within the
Township in accordance with the Master Plan. This includes the selection
of land for recreation, open space, residential and business development.
The board determines the use of our unimproved land for now and in the
future.
