NFI Park at Florence Crossings has helped to spur the resurgence of the Route 130 Corridor in Florence Township. Located across Route 130 from the Haines Center, NFI Park at Florence Crossings and The Haines Center developed by Whitesell have both been recognized for their achievements by the New Jersey Business and Industry Association (NJBIA). NFI received the 2014 New Good Neighbor Award and Whitesell was an NJBIA award recipient a few years earlier. In 2014, NFI Park at Florence Crossings was awarded the Industrial Deal of the Year by the National Association of Industrial Parks (NAIOP), while Whitesell received NAIOP’s Impact Award in 2008. Some of the largest and most recognizable companies are located or developing in Florence Township, including Subaru, Burlington Coat Factory, Express Scripts, Destination Maternity, and Home Depot. Situated with excellent access to I-295, Exit 6 of the NJ Turnpike, the connector bridge to the Pennsylvania Turnpike, Route 130 and two stations for the NJT River LINE, Florence Township is ideally located for businesses. Additional projects and expansions are planned for the future. Florence Township has utilized smart growth and economic incentives at the local, county and state level to help encourage commercial business activity in the community.
Florence Township also credits and thanks the tireless efforts of elected officials and professionals at the local, county, and state level for its success.
